Week 8 post 3

This week wrapped up the class which I have to say I really loved and would recommend to other students. As it finished it talked about gay marriage and I thought it was really cool how they talked about the hypocrisy of those who oppose gay marriage on their moral grounds. This class has been extremely personally stimulating and I am so glad I was able to question where I stand with myself and the world.

My questions for this week are going to be possible thesis prompts? I am sort of struggling with what to do.

  1. What happens to our brains and society when we stop asking the question, ‘why’

  2. Is there a perfect philosophy?

  3. Can we as a society outgrow a philosophy/philosopher

  4. How have we let storytelling effect our philosophies?

  5. Is philosophy a necessary thing to teach children

  6. Are legal studies the study of history or philosophy and what do we lose if we don't look at them a simultaneous

  7. Is it possible for citizens to enjoy both freedom and equality?

  1. Why do you think it is important that we keep asking why?

    1. Because when we stop asking why we are giving up a part of our freedom and in turn our bodily autonomy. When we ask why we don't just allow things to happen without reason or logic.
